I’m going to take a few minutes to try to make a cohesive argument against those who can’t seem to admit that God really exists.
I spend a lot of time here and there and just read various arguments against the existence of an omnipotent being (in this case, God), and honestly, I find a lot of the arguments to be quite ridiculous.
To be fair though, a lot of the arguments FOR God can be just as ridiculous as well.
The thing that most people don’t seem to understand is, God isn’t some thing we can measure through scientific evidence and theories, if that were so, wouldn’t it defeat the whole point of God’s existence?
People claim that there’s no scientific evidence to form a school of thought that a God exists, but let me ask you something: how arrogant do you think you are to believe that a universe so intricate and complex happened by chance?
Even if I were to admit that the theory of evolution can be real, does that in any way disprove that God exists? If connections with other species and beings can be made based on bone structure, geography, and geology, then doesn’t that prove even moreso that a God exists? That seemingly different creatures can share a similar blueprint, yet at the same time have totally different levels of intelligence?
In the same way an ant probably has no comprehensive ability about the way a human being thinks, we have just the same amount of knowledge compared to God.
So stop trying to prove that God doesn’t exist, or vice versa. Because it doesn’t matter to God, and you’re just fooling yourself if you think you’re doing something productive by trying.
